고령화 시대, 은퇴한 노인들의 삶은 어떨까.

 

25일 오후 느지막한 시간에 서울 종로구 종묘공원을 찾았다.

 

 

제법 쌀쌀해진 날씨 탓인지 얇은 패딩을 입은 한 노인이 벤치에 앉아서 지나가는 사람을 바라보고 있다.

 

 

 

 

종묘 공원을 찾은 노인들의 소일거리는 바둑.

 

 

때로는 혼자, 

 

때로는 두셋이 모여 커피 한 잔의 여유도 즐긴다. 

벤치 하나씩을 차지해도 뭐라하는 사람이 없다.

 

 삼삼오오 모여 소일거리를 찾기도.

 

신호가 빨간불로 바뀌었지만 노인의 걸음은 느리다.

 

폐지를 가득 실은 리어카에 줄을 묶고 있는 노인.

 

 

탑골공원 인근 노인무료급식소에 안내표가 붙어있다.

 

지나가는 청춘들을 바라보며 "우리도 저럴 때가 있었지" 한다.
