기상청이 오후에도 전국 곳곳에 비가 온다고 밝힌 가운데 오늘(8일) 오전 서울 영등포구 여의서로에서 시민들이 낙엽을 밟으며 걷고 있다.

  

 

 

 

 

단풍은 청잎이 그 푸르름을 잃는 과정 중에 생긴다. 그래서 흔히들 단풍을 인생의 중년에 비유한다. 

 

  

똑같은 '나'일 뿐인데 어느새 단풍에서 낙엽으로 불리게 되었다.

 

 

그러나 오늘은 조금 다르다. '바람에 굴러가는 낙엽'이 더욱 익숙지 않은가. 

 

가을비와 단풍의 조화는 그리 흔치 않다. 그래서 오늘(8일) 여의서로의 출근길이 더욱 특별했던 이유다.

 

 

가을비가 단풍이 지는 그 마지막 길을 배웅해 주었다. 낙엽이 되어 바스러지듯 우리의 생(生)도 언젠가 저물게 된다.

 

 

 

 

 

비를 머금은 덕에 단풍을, 아니 낙엽을 오래볼 수 있게 된 아주 특별한 비오는 가을날이다.
