지연수와 일라이는 11세 나이 차를 극복하고 부부의 연을 맺었다. 지난 2014년 6월 5일 혼인신고로 법적 부부가 된 두 사람은 2016년 6월 아들을 출산했다.
두 사람은 KBS2 '살림하는 남자들2'에 함께 출연했으며 각자의 인스타그램에 함께 찍은 사진 등을 공개하며 여전한 애정을 드러냈다.
레이싱모델로 활동한 지연수는 아름다운 미모와 몸매로 각종 대회에서 상을 휩쓸며 인기를 누렸다. 최근에는 MBN '동치미'에도 출연하고 있다.
