LG전자가 오는 19일로 예정된 5G 스마트폰 LG V50 씽큐의 국내 출시를 연기한다고 16일 발표했다. 5G 서비스에 대한 고객 만족도를 높이기 위해 5G 스마트폰 완성도에 집중하겠다는 취지다.

LG전자 관계자는 "퀄컴 및 국내 이통사들과 긴밀한 협업을 통해 소프트웨어, 하드웨어, 네트워크에 이르는 5G 서비스 및 스마트폰 완성도 향상을 위해 총력을 기울이고 있다"면서 "이에 따라 LG V50 씽큐의 출시일을 추후 확정할 계획"이라고 밝혔다.
이어 "LG전자는 고객 가치를 최우선으로 고려해 LG V50 씽큐를 구매하는 고객들이 불편을 겪지 않도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 부연했다.
