중견 제약업체 안국약품 임원들과 의사들이 90억 원대 불법 리베이트를 주고받은 혐의로 기소됐다.

서울서부지검 식품의약조사부(김형석 부장검사)는 지난 25일 약사법위반·뇌물공여 혐의로 어진(55) 안국약품 대표이사 부회장 등 전·현직 임원 3명을 불구속기소했다고 30일 밝혔다.
안국약품으로부터 현금 등 불법 리베이트를 받은 의사 85명도 의료법위반·뇌물수수 혐의로 함께 재판에 넘겨졌다. 이들이 제공받은 불법 리베이트 금액은 약 90억원에 달한다.
검찰은 지난해 11월 서울 영등포구에 있는 안국약품 본사를 압수수색을 실시하고 관계자들을 소환조사했다.
앞서 검찰은 어 부회장에 대해 구속영장을 청구했지만, 법원은 지난 23일 영장을 기각한 바 있다.
