7일 울산대교 중간지점에서 모녀가 다리 난간 밖으로 나가는 상황이 발생해 경찰이 출동했다.

울산경찰은 이날 오후 4시 32분께 "두 여성이 난간 밖으로 나가 맨발로 서있다"는 신고를 접수하고 소방구조대 등과 함께 현장에 출동했다.
경찰은 협상요원을 투입해 5시간 가까이 모녀를 상대로 설득작업을 벌인 끝에 오후 9시30분께 안전을 확보했다. 두 사람은 30대와 10대로 추정되며 "삶이 힘들다"는 말을 반복한 것으로 전해졌다.
