인천 서구 일대 아파트 및 학교에서 붉은 수돗물이 나왔다.

인천시 상수도사업본부는 지난달 30일부터 인천 서구 검암·백석·당하동 지역 아파트·학교에서 붉은 수돗물이 나온다는 주민 신고가 잇따르고 있다고 3일 밝혔다.
이에 본부는 해당 지역 주민들에게 병에 담긴 수돗물을 제공하고 관계기관에 수질검사를 의뢰한 것으로 알려졌다.
1차 조사결과, 해당 구역 수질은 모두 음용 적합 판정을 받았지만, 주민들의 불안은 계속되고 있는 것으로 전해진다.
본부는 설비 검사를 위해 관로를 교체하는 과정에서 수돗물에 이물질이 섞인 것으로 추정하고 있다.
